Boys and girls ages 8-15 are invited to learn the fundamentals of basketball from former NBA (LA Lakers Assistant Coach) and international basketball coach Roger Dutremble and his staff. The camp dates are June 11-15. Ages 8-11 will meet from 9am to noon and ages 12-15 will meet from 1 to 4pm each day. The cost is $50, which includes 5 days of instruction, a camp t-shirt, and a pizza lunch for everyone on Friday. Basketball camp will be held in the Recreation Outreach Center of Olive Baptist Church.

You will improve your basketball skills while making new friends! During your one-hour practice each week, your coach will teach you important skills like dribbling, shooting and passing. Through the skills and drills at practice, you and your teammates will become better basketball players and friends.

There's nothing like the game-day experience at Upward Sports! Coaches and fans don't yell at you, they cheer for you. You will get to play at least half of every game this season, and you'll be recognized at the end of each game with a special award at the end of the season.

Cheerleading

Improve your cheerleading skills while you make new friends! During your one-hour practice each week, your coach will teach you important skills like stances, motions, jumps and cheers. Each week, you and your teammates will become better cheerleaders and friends.

There's nothing like the game-day experience at Upward Sports! Your coach will cheer with you and for you. They will never put you down in front of the squad. You'll cheer at every game and halftime throughout the season, and you'll be recognized at the end of each game and with a special award at the end of the season.
