Meet Us...

Catherine

I am

19 and 8 months

The biggest scare I had was

a couple Christmas's ago. It was actually the night after Christmas and my Gramma was staying with us. We were all awakened in the middle of the night to sounds of what we thought was a heart attack and my mom was trying to help her breathe. She had to go to the ER - we thought she might die. I remember all four of us (me and my siblings) being scared out of our minds, not able to say anything - just cry. And I remember telling God this, "Even if You take her, I will still believe. I will still trust You." My Gramma ended up just having a bad withdrawl from her medication that she quit cold-turkey, which is very dangerous. Thank God she is doing well today:) And my relationship with God is still going strong :D

If I could keep only one book other than the bible it would be

The Negotiator by Dee Henderson

What is your favorite restaurant?

I love Olive Garden and Chili's :)

My favorite sport is

To play, basketball. To watch, football.

My first job

Well, I had my first babysitting job in 9th grade, but it wasn't consistent. Now, I have just started a new babysitting job and so far, I'm enjoying it:)

If I could see the future would I really want to?

No, I would not want to see the future. It's enough to trust God and be surprised, lol

What is your major?

I am a Studio Art major at UWF.

What do you want to do with that degree?

Right now, I don't know what I will do with my degree. All I know is that I am right where God wants me and He will show me what to do in the right time.

What is the weirdest thing you have ever done?

The weirdest thing I have ever done...I haven't done a lot of weird things, but I have been in a very very uncomfortable situation that weirded me out, lol...I drove down to south FL to visit a friend for Spring Break last April. She took me to a revival service. People were falling down at the altar and shouting and dancing and just going absolutely crazy! All I could do was stand there and watch. I tried joining in some of the songs by clapping and singing, but only to make myself not stand out so much. It was way out of my comfort zone, but I believe it has had a positive effect on me and my relationship with my Abba, my Daddy:) I told my friend I didn't ever want to experience that again, but who knows - maybe next time I'll like it. Lol

If you could live anywhere regardless of money, where would you live?

I have been to many beautiful places, mostly in America. But there are tons of places I would love to see, maybe not live there permanently, but definitely to visit. Places like Europe, Australia, Africa...but I think I would like to live in Montana. Near Yellowstone Nat'l Park. That is one of the most beautiful places in our country and I would be in my element, there in the mountains:) Florida is too hot and boring, lol, time for a change, haha
