Summer Reading Club Testimony

"We would like to take time to thank the library club for all it has done for our family over the years. The club has influenced our children to read; given them a passion we feared they would not develop. Two of our children had severe difficulty in reading and were reluctant to read. But after being a part of your program they are accomplished readers and have tackled classics like The Iliad and A Tale of Two Cities. Thank you for the program and we hope you will continue it for our younger children."

Not Just Books!

For over 50 years, the Media Library has provided a warm, family-friendly environment filled with current media resources that promote Christian growth for all of our members. We share God's love through the written word in books and periodicals and electronically through CDs, audio and video tapes, books on disc, DVDs and music CDs. The Media Library also touches hearts for Christ with research materials for teachers and students and printed sermon copies for the deaf.

The Media Library is a ministry that touches all the ministries of Olive Baptist Church by providing Bible-based resources that support, strengthen and enrich the persons and the programs of Olive. We reach out to our children with an annual summer reading club and our ladies enjoy DIVAS, a book club for women.

When you visit our library, you will see a lot of books, but what you may not expect is the beautiful artwork adorning our walls. This art is for sale by local artists. So when you have some extra time, stop by our library. You are sure to be surprised by all of the resources we have available for you and your family.

For any special needs, call 475-1132 to set up an appointment.
