Men of Faith Morning Fellowship
First Friday of Every Month
Join us from 6-7:30am in the Blue Room for a snack breakfast and an inspirational message from a different guest speaker each month.
1. Grounded in the Word (the Bible)
When a man surrenders his heart to Jesus, he
should develop a teachable spirit. By growing in his
knowledge of God’s Word, a man builds his faith on
solid ground. He learns sound biblical doctrine and
develops spiritual maturity. We encourage men to get
into scripture through Sunday School, Bible studies,
small groups, conferences and seminars.
“Him we preach, warning every man and teaching
every man in all wisdom, that we may present every
man perfect in Christ Jesus.”
Colossians 1:28
2. Serving in Ministry
Following the example of Jesus, our focus is not on
serving ourselves, but on serving others, both the
believer and non-believer alike. Through service we
demonstrate the love of God to the world with the
hope that the lost will be won to Christ.
We demonstrate as a group through community
outreach projects and as individuals by serving in
various ministries inside the church. By doing so, we
demonstrate what it means to “love your neighbor.”
“For though I am free from all men, I have made
myself a servant to all that I might win the more...”
1 Corinthians 9:1
3. Trained in Sharing the Faith
We strive to reach men outside the walls of the
church and share with them the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. We provide evangelism training to our
members to prepare them for everyday encounters
they will have with co-workers, neighbors, family and
unchurched friends.
Through Bible study and training men become better
equipped to reach others by simply sharing their
personal experiences and what they’ve learned in
scripture.
4. Partnering in Missions
Every man is expected to participate in missions
in some way, whether by giving, going, praying, or
enlisting others.
When we develop a solid biblical worldview, we
begin to see our home as an outpost of fellowship
and evangelism. On a practical level, this means
inviting both believers and unbelievers into your
home. This leads to witnessing opportunites to the
lost, and prayer opportunites with other believers for
missionaries throughout the world.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might."
~ Ephesians 6:10 ~
